Have you dreamed of a software package that would automatically format footnotes and bibliography for you? If so, your dream is now a present reality.
Bishop Payne Library has subscribed to a bibliographic software package, RefWorks, which is now available to all VTS students and faculty. There is a link to RefWorks on the library catalog home page: http://librarycatalog.vts.edu, on the right side of the home page, just above “Electronic Resources.”
The first time that you use this software, you will need to establish a user name and password. Full instructions on establishing an account and using RefWorks are available upon request – just email paynelib@vts.edu.
Library staff will be glad to demonstrate the software to you. Send your request to paynelib@vts.edu. There is also an online tutorial available on the RefWorks page, in the upper right-hand corner.
We hope that all VTS students will take advantage of this new software – it’s a great tool for papers and assignments.
